The Job:
At Primark, the customer always comes first – it’s what we call our Customer Promise. As a Department Manager, your mission is to boost sales in your area while making sure the shopping experience is top-notch.

You’ll be working hand in hand with the store’s management team to keep operations running smoothly and build a motivated, high-performing team. Depending on your department, you'll lead 2 to 3 Team Managers and their teams of about 10 to 30 people.

You’ll be in charge of everything from planning and stock to visual merchandising – and, of course, making sure our customers love shopping with us!

Here’s what you’ll be doing:
  • Plan your department’s daily operations – from sales goals to team schedules
  • Coach and support your team to deliver the best customer service – every day
  • Help recruit, onboard, and grow your Team Managers and Retail Assistants
  • Make sure everyone knows what they’re doing and stays engaged with clear daily task lists
  • Handle performance and absence management like a pro
  • Guide your team in creating fun, eye-catching displays that inspire customers and drive sales
  • Keep stock levels just right – maximizing sales and reducing loss, with smart use of our systems
