As Primark expands its concession offer, we are seeking a New Business Development Specialist who will support the NBD manager with concession management as well as building ranges of pre-loved fashion from the ground up, influencing some of the hottest high street fashions.

What You’ll Do:
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
  • You’ll assist the NBD manager in selecting must‐have fashion trends, while always keeping in mind our sales targets and margins for the financial year.
  • Managing critical paths, sample management, orders and working closely with the trading/ merchandising team to make sure they hit stores on time.
  • Keep a constant eye on our main competitors, comparing the price, quality and value of their ranges with our own – while providing weekly sales and stock info.
  • Maintain flexible and beneficial supplier relationships. Support NBD manager in negotiating the best prices and margins for the product.
  • Project management of new instore collections – critical paths/ project planning / pack building
  • Connecting with the marketing teams to drive marketing opportunities instore and online
  • Internal stakeholder management. Building relationships with internal Primark teams – retail/ marketing/ store design and construction etc.

  • This candidate will ideally have buying experience with fashion knowledge and proven negotiating skills.
  • Total organisation - You’ll have perfect attention to detail while running the day to day of the department
  • Commercial Awareness - staying to to date with main competitors, comparing the price, quality and value of their ranges with our own – while providing weekly sales and stock info.
  • Strong communication - Be a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal/communication skills
  • Quality Obsessed - Make sure garments are spot on and all documentation is completed to the highest standard.
  • Proven ability in developing effective working relationships
  • Effective and persuasive presentation skills
