What You’ll Do as a Director Administrator
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
Diary Management:
  • Manage and maintain complex calendars for directors, ensuring meetings and commitments are effectively scheduled and prioritised.
  • Proactively anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts, communicating changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Organising internal and external meetings ensuring preparation and circulation of relevant documents in advance.
  • Coordinating logistics for meetings or events such as booking venues, arranging catering services, etc.

Travel Coordination:
  • Arrange domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, visas, and itineraries.
  • Address travel-related issues promptly and ensure directors are fully prepared for their journeys.

Expense Management:
  • Process and reconcile directors’ expenses using the Concur system in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain records of expenses and assist with financial reporting as needed.

Purchase Order (PO) Management:
  • Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Liaise with finance and procurement teams to address any PO-related queries or issues.

PA Leave Coverage:
  • Provide seamless cover for Personal Assistants during their leave, ensuring uninterrupted support for directors.
  • Handle additional responsibilities and adapt to the needs of directors during PA absences.

General:
  • Processing confidential & sensitive information with judgement and tact.
  • Ad hoc projects/tasks as required.

What You’ll Bring
Here at Primark, we want everyone to feel valued – so please bring your authentic self to work, of course with some other key experience and abilities for this role in particular:
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, with 2-3 years’ experience - preferably supporting multiple senior executives or directors in a fast-paced organisation.
  • Trustworthy with a proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with directors and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
  • A genuine passion or interest in the retail industry a distinct advantage
