Our finance teams are involved throughout Primark, from the initial planning of a store to exciting store opening experiences. We're a large team, with lots of interesting projects on the go, and lots of room for development. RISK AND COMPLIANCE

Because we live by maximum joy at minimum cost

You'll see it in everything we do – from the risk frameworks that cover good practice risk governance and processes to making sure the right capabilities are in the right places.

Constantly looking to the future is an important job, so we'll need strategic thinkers with good organisational skills. We'll be relying on exceptional communicators with good knowledge of risk management processes to keep everyone in the loop. Experience with control design and assurance will be crucial to keep everything running smoothly!

REAL PROJECTS,
REAL IMPACT

  • What we're up to:

    Right now, an ongoing project is building out our Risk and Compliance teams, and their programmes of work. As we're making big changes, our work will need to be focused on developing and implementing plans in different regulation areas, with a focus on environmental and social. Part of this is implementing our risk processes from top to bottom across the business, and rolling out a Risk Awareness Programme. These projects are huge, global, and influence Primark's future!

  • Because we never stop learning

    We've launched a "Build Your Own Workflow" programme using Alteryx, which allows Finance professionals to acquire key skills. They're getting hands-on with courses in analytics, Tableau and Power BI, among others.

    We're also working on using robotic processes to automate, and part of it is hiring the superstars that'll thrive here – you.

The majority of our Finance teams are based in our Dublin HQ, and our Payroll teams are led from the Reading Regional Office, with colleagues in our international markets.

Recently redesigned in 2015, our amazing offices in Dublin and Reading are home to over 1500 of the most talented, interesting and approachable people you could ever want to work with. Enjoy the fun, friendly and inclusive atmosphere and all the facilities that inspire us to innovate.
