Your Role as Store Manager

You’ll be the strategic leader of the store – driving performance, maximising sales, shaping culture, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Your tasks will include:

  • Defining and executing the store’s long-term strategy, aligned with Primark’s commercial goals and customer experience standards.

  • Leading a large-scale team – over 100 Retail Assistants and 10–15 Managers, with a focus on engagement, development, and collaboration.

  • Driving commercial results through strategic planning, data analysis, and a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.

  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks, adjusting strategy accordingly.

  • Monitoring managing end-to-end store operations, ensuring smooth daily functioning, compliance, and high standards across all areas.

  • Taking an active role in managing People & Culture (HR) processes in partnership with the People & Culture Team.

  • Building a strong store culture based on Primark values – where people feel empowered, supported, and motivated to grow.

  • Lead change and innovation by introducing new ideas and solutions to improve store performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Representing Primark locally, building relationships with external partners and contributing to brand development initiatives.

  • Actively participating in various projects related to developing the Primark brand in the local and international market.

Because you’re one of a kind! You’re a perfect fit if you:

  • Have at least 6 years of experience in a senior retail leadership role – ideally as a Regional/Area Manager in a large-format, fast-paced environment or as a Store Manager of a large- format flagship store.

  • Know how to lead and inspire large teams – including both Retail Assistants and Managers – to achieve ambitious goals together.

  • Combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach – you’re confident in making decisions, setting priorities, and driving results.

  • Are a natural communicator – you build strong relationships, give clear feedback, and know how to coach and motivate others.

  • Think commercially – you understand customer needs, analyze data, and turn insights into action.

  • Thrive in dynamic environments – you’re adaptable, solution-oriented, and ready to lead through change.

  • Are fluent in English and Polish.

  • Are open to working flexible shifts, including weekends.
